Professionalism Requires Accountability

The legal, professional and ethical framework that governs how this organization operates — including the limits we place on ourselves.

Status disclaimer. Former government or security-service experience does not confer current government authority, law-enforcement powers or intelligence-service status. All personnel operate only within the authority legally available to them in the jurisdiction concerned.

Accountability Is the Product

In private security, the difference between a professional organization and a dangerous one is rarely visible in a brochure. It shows in what the organization refuses to do, what it writes down, and whether anyone can be held to account afterwards.

This page sets out the framework we work within. It contains no certifications, accreditations or memberships, because we publish only what can be independently verified — and we will not manufacture credentials to fill a page.

The Framework We Operate Within

Local Licensing

Where a jurisdiction requires a licence or registration for security activity — whether of the company, the individual, or both — that requirement is confirmed and satisfied before work begins. Where it cannot be satisfied, the work is not undertaken.

Applicable National Laws

Assignments are structured around the law of the place where they are performed, including rules on private security, use of force, equipment, surveillance, employment and data. Where laws conflict, the stricter applicable standard governs.

Background Screening

Identity, right-to-work, qualification and background checks proportionate to the role, conducted lawfully and within local data-protection rules. Screening is repeated per role and per jurisdiction, not held indefinitely.

Professional Conduct

Personnel are required to act lawfully, proportionately and respectfully; to cooperate appropriately with local authorities; to refuse unlawful instructions; and to report incidents and errors accurately, including their own.

Confidentiality

Client information is treated as confidential during and after an engagement. Personnel are bound by written confidentiality terms, and prior confidentiality obligations owed to former employers are fully respected.

Insurance

Appropriate insurance cover valid for the territory, activity and duration of the engagement is a precondition of deployment, not an administrative detail settled afterwards.

Contractual Responsibilities

Every engagement runs on a written mandate defining scope, deliverables, authority limits, escalation routes, reporting and termination. Nothing operational proceeds on a verbal understanding.

Data Protection

Personal data is collected only where necessary, held only as long as required, protected proportionately, and handled in line with applicable data-protection law. Clients are told what we hold and why.

Human Rights

Operations are conducted with respect for the rights, dignity and safety of all persons — clients, third parties and the public alike. Proportionality is a binding constraint, not a preference.

Client Safety

The client's safety governs the advice we give, including when that advice is to reduce activity, change plans, or decline a movement we do not consider defensible.

Anti-Corruption Principles

We do not offer, solicit or facilitate bribes, facilitation payments or improper advantage of any kind, and we will withdraw from an engagement rather than participate in one.

What We Do Not Do

Stating the limits plainly is part of the standard. Each of these is refused regardless of the fee attached to it.

01

No Claimed Authority

We never present ourselves, or permit anyone to present us, as a government body, police force or intelligence service.

02

No Covert Investigation

No surveillance, tracking or covert collection against private individuals, and nothing requiring official powers or access.

03

No Intimidation Work

No engagement whose purpose is to pressure, obstruct, deter or intimidate another party, however it is framed.

04

No Unlicensed Activity

No regulated security activity in a jurisdiction where the required licence or permission is not held.

05

No Confidentiality Breaches

We do not seek information that a candidate or employee is legally obliged to keep confidential.

06

No Fabricated Credentials

No invented certifications, statistics, case studies, testimonials, partnerships or client references — here or in any proposal.

Raising a Concern

If you believe someone has represented this organization improperly, claimed authority it does not hold, or acted outside the standards described on this page, contact us directly. Concerns are taken seriously and investigated, and we would rather hear about a problem than discover it later.

Verification

Any claim of official authorization, government affiliation or state endorsement attributed to this organization should be treated as false unless it is expressly stated by us in writing and can be independently verified. If in doubt, ask us before acting.

Ask Us the Difficult Questions First

Clients who ask about licensing, authority and limits at the outset tend to be the best-served ones. We would encourage it.
